Gwen Samuel is the founder and president of the Connecticut Parent Union, a membership organization that connects parents, guardians and families with educational resources and support systems necessary to protect their children’s educational rights. The parent of a child in Connecticut public schools, she is the founder of two volunteer organizations in Connecticut, State of Black CT Alliance and Meriden Kids Walk Safe Coalition.
